Laabo Cookies

Small browser settings, clearly explained.

Laabo uses browser cookies for sign-in and language preferences. The names and settings below reflect the current web implementation and may change as the service evolves.

§01

Sign-in session · laabo_access

The API sets this cookie after web sign-in. It is HttpOnly, uses SameSite=Lax, is marked Secure in production, and expires according to the issued access-token lifetime. It lets the browser make authenticated requests without exposing the token to page scripts.

§02

Language preference · laabo_locale

The web preference endpoint can set this HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie for English or Tamil. It is marked Secure in production and has a one-year maximum age.

§03

Essential storage

These cookies support the requested sign-in and language preference. Removing the sign-in cookie signs you out. Blocking cookies may prevent web authentication from working; the Flutter application uses its own platform storage behavior.

§04

Optional measurement

This page does not describe advertising or analytics cookies as enabled. If optional analytics or marketing storage is introduced, Laabo should update this notice and provide any choices required by applicable law before those technologies are used.

§05

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies through your browser settings. For an authenticated session, use Sign out in Laabo when available so the server can revoke the session as well as clear the browser cookie.
